My first love was writing. I've been writing since I can remember...I seek solace when I pick up a pen.
I get so excited to write that each time I pick up a pen I write a new story or venture into something new. My stories though are never ending. I haven't yet finished a story.
I can't stay focused. On any one story. That's my challenge.
I once went into a long dry spell, I froze, not a word, not an ink, not a thought. It was numbing and exasperating. It feels so good to play with words again.
I'm just a dreamer and I like to write my dreams. I realize now, it's okay to keep writing, as a dream never ends.
I'm a writer, I can say. That feels so liberating. It breaks down my wall.
One day I'll have my ending.
In the meantime, I'm enjoying the random thoughts.

I like to say that a true writer is a passionate writer who writes as if their pen never runs out of ink. A bit mythical, yes. But imagine if you only depended on your pen to write and once the ink runs out you stop writing, your adventure stops, your vision stops. Your focus is on finding another pen. Everything pauses, until you find another pen. Do not pause your creativity because things are out of the ordinary. Whatever the situation, it should be captured and added on to your journey. Keep writing soldier.
Reading is fundamental. Writing is Power.
You can’t force yourself to write. You can’t force yourself to be creative. It’s a lot simpler than that.
You have to embrace being in the zone…it should feel like you’ve just given birth to your thoughts and words…it should be floating waiting for you to capture its vision. Then you have to graciously nurture its presence.
It’s a wholesome feeling.
